• mesh structure allows for correct wound ventilation and free flow of exudates to a secondary dressing
• thanks to the paraffin layer the dressing does not adhere to the wound, which allows for atraumatic change
of the dressing and pain reduction for the patient
• neutral paraffin properties allow for using the dressing in combination with other medicaments or antiseptics
• can be shaped or cut according to the needs in a sterile manner
• needs to be covered with a secondary absorbent dressing e.g. high absorption capacity swabs or polyurethane foam
